To eliminate the problem being the Flash movie, if you have not done so use
Control Test Movie, view bandwidth profiler and select simulate download in
Control Test Movie. Plus in Publish Settings, you might find the Flash tab
Generate size report might pin point a bottleneck.

If you have used Test Movie, make sure you know how to use it in download
simulation mode.

Flash downloads the root timeline one frame at a time and attempts to play
them after so many have arrived.

If early frames are large, we wait. Largeness can include Fonts downloaded,
bitmaps and event sounds to name some of the common bricks.

Hi, I was curious if anyone could tell me why flash files on my website
take
sometime to pop up when they are supposed to. It seems like it is loading
it
for some reason because when you enter the page, it takes about 15 seconds
to
pop up and start. It does that at all connections, high speed, DSL, etc.

also, if you have a lot of components they're exported in the first frame
which would have to download before the movie played.
