Video Encoder Stopping -- flash (macromedia)

Hello,

I'm attempting to encode an avi video to a progressive flv file using Flash 8
Professional. The 4GB, twenty minute avi is located on a DVD in the PC disc
drive. The flv is being encoded to another drive.

The encoding starts out fine. But, then a few minutes into the encoding, the
encoding stops with only the first few minutes of the encoding completed.

Any suggestions on how to get the encoder to complete the entire video?

Flash was never design to handle files as huge as that and it won't work for you, not
with such file size.
200MB is considered allot and start causing problems, imagine 4GB.
