flash (macromedia): What do I add to flash so that I get a count down while it is loading? I'm
using Flash MX, and my current flash files take about 30 seconds to load, and
the screen is blank during that time, is it easy to add a count down so people
don't leave my site before the film loads?

You need preloader which basically holds the timeline from playing till all the frames
get cached, and meantime play some basic animation to keep the user busy.
