flash (macromedia): Please, somebody tell me this is not the case. How can Macromedia/Adobe have
built this component and not allow an https address? I built an entire
application using these components and now I need to switch it all to a secure
area with https URL's and I cannot. Help?! Thanks

I take it nobody has any experience with this and "Adobe" is not going to
bother updating the Web Service Connector component to handle https along with
the handling of http web service addresses? PLEASE. This just kills me,
honestly, I do not see the reason for just flat out not allowing us to define a
web service with an https address - could someone from Adobe PLEASE address
this issue for me - please.

ADOBE - can you please tell me why I cannot define a Web Service with an
https:// address in the Web Services panel? Folks listening, there is little
to no documentation on this anywhere, so if you would like to put a web service
in a secure location and consume it with Flash using the Web Service connector
you cannot do it - it is really just dumb. I built an entire application that
consumed a Web Service, knowing that in production I would need to change the
locations of the services to https addresses - however I cannot. No developer
articles talk about it on Adobe's website either. HOW HARD WOULD IT BE TO PUT
AN UPDATE OUT THERE TO THIS COMPONENT, CORRECTING THE ISSUE? It would probably
take a whole hour of Adobe's time.
