There's an Edit Multiple Frames button on the bottom left of the
Timeline panel. Have you selected that first?

it should work - make sure you select the range of frames and layers you want - then do a *copy
frames* (not *copy*).

I can't seem to copy multiple frames at once either by right clicking, or by
doing it through the menu. The option is always there, but greyed out and
unpressable. I have flash 8.

Im assuming this is a simple fix?

Not *way* to the left ... a bit to the right of those. ;) But as Chris
mentioned in another reply, you may not even need that. The Copy Frames
feature is your most likely bet (I may hav misread your question).
