flash (macromedia): That's because you have installed flash player 9 - so naturally whatever flash content you view will
be played in your version of the plugin.
I think what you are asking is how to have a user visiting your site to have their player version
detected and be prompted to upgrade to flash 9 if necessary?/ If so - search adobe.com, this forum
or google for "flash detection" - there is a very well written article on adobe/.com about this.

I noticed that when I look at Flash on other websites it's always playing in
Flash Player 9. Whenever I export my Flash 8 animations they end up playing in
Flash 8 in the browser. How can I change this so that they play in Flash Player
9?
