flash (macromedia): I'm doing a web page, but I don't know how to stop the animation while it's running thx to help me

Tried the stop(); action ?

We will need to see the animation, stop(); generally stops timeline animation,
like shape - motion tween or frame by frame sequence, it has no effect on scripted
stuff. If we can see, perhaps we could suggest something else.
