Which one is generally better or preferrable from the users point of veiw:

a form that uses the users e-mail client to send the info to me

or

a form that sends info to a server using asp and then is in turn sent to me

any ideas?

[quoted text, click to view]

don't think there is a better one, it's more about your personal preference.
If you don't want to expose your email to people and to spam than it's better to
go with forms. I did that mistake before, use my own mail address for people to
click and fire up the mail client. After few years it start to collect so much
spam crap that It really take a while to shuffle trough it. I can't change the
address because I have way too many people to inform, some not in my book, would not
want to lose touch with them. Now with forms, I make onlineForm@name.com and if it's
start getting too much spam I change it to something else, no one knows and I get my
account clean for months to come.
