flash (macromedia): Hi. I'm having a problem that I've had before with flash. I have shapes drawn
during author-time that become distorted when I export my movie. I checked on
the layer on which the shapes reside and made sure that the shape is the only
item on that layer, and I replaced the shapes that were there with new ones,
and also remade the tweens.

I've been working on this file for a few weeks, and today was the first time
these distortions happened. They also happened to parts of the .fla file that I
have not edited for some time. There are links to image files showing what's
happening.

http://atomik.serveftp.com/temp/distAnim.jpg This is a tween that appears
correctly in author time but not when exporting.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? I've been able to remedy it sometimes
by replacing the shapes/tweens affected, but this time the problem is being
more stubborn. My specs are:

Win XP Pro SP2
Flash MX 2004 Pro 7.2

Mac OSX 10.4
Flash MX 2004 Pro 7.2

The problem appears on both platforms. Thanks in advance for anyone that knows
what's wrong.

I got rid of the problem, although I wouldn't say it's a very great solution.
The file I was having problems with was index.fla.
I saved a copy of index.fla as indexComponents.fla. I created a new flash
document, copied the frames on root over to the new file, and copied all
objects in the library to the new file as well. When I exported, the graphics
appeared correctly.

Does flash.exe sometimes corrupt .fla files? I can't think of any other
explanation....
