I am working on a flash template, and I have been sent some html code to copy
to the site that will crreate a button and link to another site that supplies a
service.

Its easy adding html script in a html site using frontpage or dreamweaver
(html editor), but how do I add it to a specific part of a flash site (.fla
file).

Whats the trick?

You may not be able to accomplish what you seek since the tiny flash
player supports just a small sub-set of html (primarily for formatting
dynamic text). It's difficult to offer much more without particulars, but
you might start by checking the help and actionscript dictionary included
with flash to see what tags are supported for your version of flash. -Tom
