Help me post a flash intro on my site.

flash (macromedia): I made a intro for my site and i made a button with a link and i typed my url
in, i guess thats right.

But i was just wandering how do i put the intro on ym site do i have to upload
the thing on there somehow because ive been trying to do it, I have gecocities
and when i put it into the upload box it just plays my flash file????

Please explain step by step how please, id be so happy.

I just bought flash yesterday.

Open the FLA file, go to FILE - Publish Setting.
Using the PUBLISH will generate the SWF and the html document
with all the necessary Object and Embed tags.
Upload the html and swf to server. Pretty much it.
