flash (macromedia):
[quoted text, click to view]

Invisible text is probably the most common complaint on this forum and
usually the answer is to switch to static text instead of dynamic
text, or in case you really need dynamic text to embed the font
outline. If that doesn't fix it, make a small sample and post a link
to it so it can be checked.

Oh man, I'm panicked! I've worked hard on a flash tutorial that shows up fine
on all browsers on my mac. On the PC it tests fine with Netscape and Firefox.
But with IE (version 6) on the PC, none of my fonts will show up...

I created this file with Flash 8 professional. I created another file with
with mx2004, using the exact same font on the exact same website and it shows
up in IE, and all other browsers, just fine. I've since converted that 04 file
to flash 8 and it still works fine.

I'm totally confused and would really, really, really appreciate some help
with this. I have no idea where to start looking.

Thanks

Shannon,
I have recently republished some Flash 5 files using Flash 8. We found that
the users would not see the words or my buttons if they did not install Flash 8
player, some users had been running the .swf with Internet Explorer. Needless
to say out Intranet now has a link to upgrade (all our files are used
internally). hope this helps.
