Copy(or cut) frames/paste frames. -Tom Unger

Hi, this is a pretty simple question, but I can't figure it out, so hopefully
there is a way to do it. I have 6-7 layers in the root of a movie, filled with
keyframes and actions. Though I should have planned better, I realized I need
to put all this into a movie symbol, but I can't figure out an easy way to
select all of the elements and convert them into a movie. I just don't want to
have to redo all the placement and actionscripting for each of the couple dozen
keyframes. Thanks very much for your help.

I do this all the time. All you need to do is create a new movieclip
symbol, select all the frames from your stage, Timeline->Copy Frames,
then open the new movie symbol and paste the frames in.
