Then you could load the original swf into a parent swf and place it using _x
& _y.

Moving all objects at once? Brian Battles

I created an animation in a movie 200 pixels wide. I put all the objects in the
center horizontally. I changed the movie dimensions to 700 pixels wide, but all
the objects are now located at the left. Is there a way to move all of the
objects together, which animate at different times, to the center of the new
dimesions? I am afraid that moving them separately will cause them not to line
up properly.

Nope. This selects the objects visible at a particular point in the timeline.
Other objects enter the animation at different points in the animation. I want
to move all objects in the animation at once.

That's a good idea. I was also thinking about copying and pasting the original
animation frames and layers into a movie clip that is 200 pixels wide. I could
place the movie clip in the center of the new movie dimensions for the document.

If I use your suggestion can you tell me where I can find out how to setup
loading the original in the parent?

Chris, using the edit multiple-frames worked well. However, it did not move the
shape hints. Considering the time it saved me from having to move all the other
elements individually, I can deal with re-creating them.
