Christopher,

Not that I've seen.

Wow. I've not seen that.

The only thing I can imagine is that your symbols are somehow grouped in
a way that makes them look mis-aligned when they're actually (technically)
aligned just fine.

Can someone tell me if there is a bug in the alignment tool? I'm consistently
having problems correctly aligning multiple copies of a symbol in a long line.
Especially with the "Distribute horizontal center" alignment tool. It almost
always has one or two symbols out of alignment.

Here is an example:

I've had this problem in MX04 and v8

yeah, I thought that also so I broke them all apart and they will still
misalign. I tried other shapes and even different combinations of shapes,
grouped and ungrouped just to approach this from several different ways.
Sometimes I get the weird break in the middle (as demonstrated via the link),
or I get a larger gap between the last two shapes. This often happens when
vertically aligning things as well.

Just don't understand what the problem is...

Sometimes when the symbols are too close to each other, flash can't figure how the distribution
suppose to go. It's not that intuitive. I can't explain it well but I know what you having problem
with and I kind of develop habit of using that tool and moving around my content in ways I know
I can avoid it. I don't believe it's a bug, just sometimes the program average the distance of
position a bit off because either the items are too close to each other or on some odd coordinates
that confuses the hell out of flash.
