correct - but i have read from too many posts and various sources that google does not use META tags
- I am not cliaming what is true or not true - i don't know the exact technology behind various
search engines - but there seems to be a lot of information and articles out there about how google
parses text in SWF files - yet when I read public discussions about it, there is always somebody who
knows someone who is an employee/developer/otherwise for the actual search engine company who claims
it isn't true.

You said your friend who worls for google says google can not search flash files - yet on google's
site this is easily found:
http://www.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=4302&query=flash&topic=0&type=f "Google does index pages that use Macromedia Flash. However, our crawlers may experience problems
indexing Flash pages. If you're concerned that Flash content on your pages may be inhibiting
Google's ability to crawl your site, you may want to consider using a text browser such as Lynx to
examine your site. If features such as Flash keep you from seeing all of your site in a text
browser, then search engine spiders may have trouble crawling your site..."
So this is admittedly confusing to read one thing then read another saying the complete opposite.
Does your google friend know google can index flash pages? just curious.
