I have a similar problem.
I have created a movie with multiple scenes and actionscript code assigned to
button symbols that navigates between them. I made the movie and publised it
with no problem, but now when I go back to edit the file in Flash, the whole
application dies when I try to do anyting (switch to a different scene, close
my actions panel, etc...), with no error messages. This has occured on two
different computers running the same software. I recreated the movie from
scratch and am still having the same problem. I have experienced no problems
with other any other files. I am using Macromedia Flash 8 Professional on both
XP Pro and XP Home. Any thoughts?
