flash (macromedia):
i have built a header for my website, and have exported the header with its 4
different images that i want to fade into each other, with moving text over it
and all. my question is:
how do i set the tween for bitmaps to fade into each other?
do they need to be converted to mcs? graphic? do they need to be broken apart?
help me please...
thanks in advance

I usually just make each one into a symbol. (modify - covert to symbol)
Then put each one on a separate layer.
take the one on the bottom layer and make a new keyframe further along the
timeline (lets say frame 50) then make another keyframe on frame 70.
select frame 70 then select the picture on the stage. Now in the properties
panel select "Alpha" from the Color drop down menu and slide it down to 0%.
Then, select any frame between frame 50 and 70 and right click on it, and
select Create Motion Tween.
This will fade your picture out.
Now on layer 2 move your picture along to frame 50 and make a keyframe on
frame 70 and frame 100.
Go back to frame 50 and select the picture, select "Alpha" again and make sure
it is on 0%. Go to frame 70 and make sure tha pictures alpha is 100%. Then
create the motion tween again.
Now test your movie
Hope This Helps
Cheers
Alan
