flash (macromedia): Bob,

The FLVPlayback component requires Flash Player 8. The Media components
(also in the Components panel) work in Flash Players 6 and 7. Your success
will also depend on what FLV encoding you used. The On2 codec requires
Flash Player 8.

Hello,

I just completed a nice little project making use of the FLVPlayback features
of Flash 8. I imported video files and encoded them to .flv files and stream
them from a server. Works great. However, I just learned that some of my
customers run Linux and can not access the system because they can not run the
Flash 8 player. Does anyone know if these same features are available in
Flash7 (which I belive is also called Flash MX 2004)? I have Flash 6 installed
and I know they do not exist there. Thanks for any help.
