flash (macromedia):
Hey everybody,

<b>Synopsis</b>
I've created a flash quiz using the Flash Quiz Templates with tracking. I've
done AICC, SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004. The Flash files upload fine, and play
fine, but they do not track the scores the users have gotten.

<b>Problem</b>
How do I get the Flash and LMS to communicate?
<UL>- Does the "Activity ID" in Flash actually correlate to something?
- Does the "Activity ID" in Flash even matter?
- If the "Activity ID" doesn't match the "SCO-ID" from the LMS does that
matter?</UL>
<UL>- Is there a way to tell whether the server is AICC, SCORM 1.2, or SCORM
2004?
- Does the Flash Player that is used matter (I've been publishing to Flash
Player 7)?
- Does Flash Developing environment matter (I've been using Flash 8, should I
use Flash MX 2004)?</UL>
<UL>- Is there anything specific that I need to watch out for when doing this?
- Are there any "Gotchas?"</UL>

Thank you GREATLY in advance for any assistance that can be given on this.

www.mirage-studios.com,

have you worked this out? If not - contact me off-list:

Andrew AT LearningConsulting DOT com.

In general: The "Activity ID" field could/should be removed from the UI
(similiar to the Activity URL and other fields in the quiz UI). What you
need to do is use the HTML Publishing template to publish for AICC, or SCORM
(only Flash 8 supports SCORM 2004 - though the template could be modified
for Flash MX 2004). When you publish for AICC - there are additional steps
you need to follow. Look in the documentation in the Quiz or Learning
Interactions section.

Regards,

Andrew
