flash (macromedia) : Dotted line around text

it's Dynamic. What are you trying to do? If you dont need dynamic text set it to Static.

All of a sudden I get a dotted line around my text after I deselect the text area. I am using flash 2004MX and I am a newbie can anyone help?

Hi,
You must have accidently made the text into Dynamic or Input text.
Just change it back to Static in the property panel.

You are both right some how I changed to dynamic text by accident.
