flash (macromedia): From what I understand, there has been some kind of lawsuit over the way Active
X controls are called (or something like that). Therefore, we are seeing the
issues that are arising again (just like a few months ago).

As a website developer, is there anything we can do to prevent these issues
from happening on our own sites? Or is just the way it's gonna be with
Microsoft IE now?

I hope this thread ends up being useful for many of us. Thanks in advance!

No .. there is nothing new at all .. you're misinformed. Its EXACTLY the
same thing continued from a few months ago, with same issues and same
solutions.

It is due to Microsoft IE changes required to avoid infringing the (stupid)
EOLAS patent.

If you are viewing a web site, you cannot really do anything to fix it,
except complain to the web master
