flash (macromedia):
Please bare with me as I am brand new to flash and so far I am very confused.

I recently got a flash template and it has an intro (splash) screen that I
want to remove but I do not know how. As far as I can tell everything is in 1
scene but thats where I get stuck. Someone said i have to delete the layers but
all the layers look the same. Can anyone help me?

There is no one way to do things in flash, it's very individual design tool
so there is no way for us to tell you how to remove it w/o seeing the source
file. Deleting Layers might not be good idea, there might be other content
which is part of the remaining movie serenenesses to run the file.
You will need to remove frames rather than entire layers but, again, can't
say w/o seeing your source. This is the problem with templates.
lots of users got them hoping they can "flash" before reading the manuals,
but flash has it's specific working environment which you NEED to get to know
to find your way around the file and do editing.
If you can't show the source than you left with reading your help files only.
Try the basic stuff, timeline, buttons, tweens, it should give you enough idea
to remove and alter whatever necessary.
