flash (macromedia) : Resize "Stage" Dimensions but keep centered

My animation is complete. However, I would like to make the Flash workspace a
bit smaller. When I change the dimensions though, it takes the extra space off
the right and bottom. Now my animation is upper-left heavy. Is there any way to
resize so the animation stays centered?

Thanks.

Thanks.
That was actually my Plan B. The issue is though, if the guts of my animation
are near the center, much of it will get cut off if I resize (shrink) the
workspace in Flash. Is there a way to take equal amounts off top, bottom, left,
right vs. just off the right and bottom?

Okay, you can try this:
1. Make sure all your layers are unlocked
2. select all the frames in your movie (make sure you get them all). This will
select all the objects on the stage automatically.
3. With your selection tool, drag all the objects to the top left corner of
the stage.
4. Try running it but don't save it over your original until you're sure it's
okay.
This should work unless your using Actionscript to change the x,y positions of
the objects dynamically.
5. You can then trim your stage to a size that you decide.
