flash (macromedia):
[quoted text, click to view]

Adobe says you cannot uninstall the flash player without using their uninstaller. It is an exe that uninstalls ALL flash players
from ALL browsers whether you want to only remove one particular one or not. I am not impressed at all.

I can not delete the file flash9.ocx from my NTFS boot volume. I am told that
the file is in use.

In a dual-boot environment running with adminstrator piveledges I can delete
EVERY file on the 60GB volume except flash9.ocx.

What is the "trick" to alow me to delete it?

I unfortantly can not reformat the volume becuse it is the boot drive.

I figured out how to delete this file. Do the following:
1. Remove all users from the security properties.
2. Add a current administrator user account.
3. Allow this user Full Control.
4. Click in Apply then OK.

Now you can delete that file.
