Hey everyone,

other than flashkit, are there any good free websites to find good sound loops, particularly rock and orchestral?

Simple answer: No. Believe me, I've searched.

There are a few miscellaneous music loops available around the net, but
99.99999 percent of them are dark, minor-key techno and hip hop, and the
variety is miniscule. Buying commercial loops is not particularly expensive.
Sony Media sells loop CDs for their Acid software (but they are in WAV format,
so can be used with any audio editing program, not just Acid) for $29 and up.
These can then be legally used as many times as you want, and are of excellent
production quality:
