flash (macromedia): Dave,

Here is a sample I created a few months back:
http://www.smithmediafusion.com/blog/?p=7

It uses the list component but it will work for a combo box as well.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Requesting ComboBox Assistance Dave_Cook

A friend of mine is a General Contractor and he put a new front door on my
condo for nothing. I told him I'd spruce up his website. I bought a cool
Flash template - basically the only thing Flash is the header. You can see the
template in action http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/9696.html.

If you know Flash and you don't have anything going on as you read this, I
would totally appreciate some direction. You can download the FLA file
http://www.listing360.com/temp/header.fla. I can hack my way through most of
this stuff, but I have no idea how to get the combo box / jump button to
actually go to a URL, or to get the background of the dropdown to be - not so
transparent...

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dan! Interestingly enough, if I copy and paste my combo box into your
..FLA the code makes it work as expected - see a screenie
http://www.listing360.com/temp/combobox.jpg. But if I put the same thing in my
..FLA I only end up with a blank square. Both for your list box and for my
combo box. Is there more code hiding somewhere in your file? If not something
in mind is breaking it...
