We have previously used another program (and it was a good one) to create Flash
applications... But now it is time to get the real Flash.

- We will be buying Flash and Captivate.
- Unfortunately they don't come in a Creative Suite package as far as we can
find.
- List price on the pair is about $1400.
- Would you guys be kind enough to suggest some vendors we should consider.

Thanks for any help.

@lenrique21: stop you're solicitations. It is not allowed in these forums.

@JMCousins1: you've got some nerve coming into the Adobe site, where Flash is
their product, and asking where you can buy it cheaper. the best vendor for
the product is the one that's producing it, and you will recieve the benefit of
registration, upgrade pricing, information services, and product support.

Gee Whiz cbeech... Most software manufacturers urge you to buy from their
distributor base...

The 'street price' is the term I think they use to describe what their
resellers charge for the products... as opposed to the 'list price' or
whatever...

And, I'm not necessarily looking for the absolute lowest price... but I do
have a fiduciary responsibility to make a reasonable effort to buy at market
price... what ever that may be.

In fact I called Adobe before this post and they gave me a long list of their
resellers and indicated they probably would more aggressively price the product.

I posted my note in the hopes that some kind soul here would save me a
half-day on the phone... and just point me in the right direction.

I don't think it matters if I buy from Best Buy, Amazon.com, Staples, Circuit
City, or whoever... If they are a valid Adobe reseller I will get all the
benefits of registration, upgrade pricing, information services, and product
support.

Regardless, I apologize if the question is inappropriate for the forum.

Best regards.

Yes indeed Will, my apologies, I guess I was thinking that you were asking
where the cheapest 'knock-off' could be found, and I'd over-reacted, to the
extream. In part due to the second poster here, who has been soliciting
regularly within the forums.

You are Absolutely correct, if you simply looking for the lowest price
reseller, definitely check around. I don't know what I was thinking, guess I
just got a little worked up :) sorry, once again.

I would also consider talking with Adobe and seeing if you you can qualify for
'upgrade' pricing, sometimes they'll give you a good price, when you have, or
have been using a similar competitors product.
