Impossible to start troubleshooting this based on so little and mysterious information - MX is
version 6 and was developed by Macromedia which was aquired by Adobe over a year ago. Since it is no
longer avaliable and hasnt been for some time there's no telling how suspect the source is from
which you received it - could be full of spyware for all we know.
You didn't mention what platform or OS or any system specs.
You didn;t mention at what point during the install this error pops up.
Why are you trial testing a program this old when a free 30-day trial of Flash CS3 (latest and
greatest) is available?
