Here's the problem. My movie has 13 scenes, which can be accessed by the
thirteen titled buttons that appear on the home page. Okay so far?

When I test movie (or export as .swf) the first four buttons work fine. The
fifth skips to the appropriate scene, then freezes after four or five frames.
Six through thirteen don't work at all.

I created all the buttons in scene one and simply copied them to the remainder
of the scenes.

I have triple-checked scenes 5-13 to make sure there are no unwanted action
commands.

I have removed all the buttons and recreated them twice in scene one - then
applied them to the rest of the scenes.

I have deleted everything except scene 1 and rebuilt the entire site.

Can anyone think of anything else I should try? I'd be ready to pull my hair
out if I wasn't bald already.

First off...don't use scenes. They are buggy and quite possibly part of your
problem

Other than that, without anything to look at in your code, it's hard to tell
what's going on. Let us see your button code, etc. and we can try to help you
figure it out. :)
