flash (macromedia) : video navigation using a flash button

I have a wmv video file, which I want to import into flash. When I click on a button I want to be able to jump to a specific point in the video. Is this possible?

If the video is placed on timeline, simple gotoAndPlay action will do.

Sorry I should of stated this earlier. Preferebly i would like it not to be in
the timeline.

Wont the gotoAndPlay option just got to acual video and play it from the
start? I need to actually jump to, for example 1 minute into the wmv video and
play itfrom there onwards.

This isn't a good place to jump in.... sorry, but cuepoints and navigation to
them are up there in the "advanced" section of Flash (IMO). This thread is a
good place to start learning about cue points:
