i have a flash movie which im trying to export as a mac projector... the export
is always ok but...
when i zip the projector an unzip it in another mac or even mine in the same
folder as the original it becomes a blank document that is impossible to open
even with flash player. The same thing happens when i transfer the projector
file in another mac without ziping it... what's wrong with mac projector? if it
works just in my mac what's the point of it?

your problem is the zipping is not catching all the application.

doing a create archive will beak this kind of mac application (there
are 2 pieces and standard zipping only gets one)

you need to make sure your zipper encodes it as a MacBinary, this is an
option in dropZip - or use stuffit..

Or you can use disk utility ( included with the OS) and create a dmg
and copy it onto that..

or.. you can create you app with mProjector which has a zipper built
into it that works too...

I'm having the same issue, but I'm trying to email the mac projector file. If I
transfer the file by some other means (iDisk or USB device) it works fine, but
the minute I send the file as an email attachment, it's rendered useless. Same
results, it becomes a generic icon and won't launch itself or open in flash
player. I've tried multiple email programs as well. I've also tried it with the
windows projector file (emailing to a pc) and it works just fine.

I read in another forum to try adding the .app extenstion and that doesn't
work. I also tried adding the .hqx extenstion, and that works even less.

This is driving me mental. I've wasted 2 hours today already trying to figure
this out. If anyone out there has any ideas please help :(

I had the same problem, so tanx for that answer
I hope that adobe will fix that. That was working great before, when the file was automaticly zipped.

Hi - My client recently switched to a Mac laptop so I re-exported the Flash
presentations I had created for him in Mac projector format. The resulting
files were hqx which I ftped to his website so he could download them. Before
doing so, I confirmed that I could open and run them on my iMac. He says that
he can't open them though. I suggested he try upgrading his version of Stuffit
but could there be anything else going wrong here? He says he still can't open
them.
Thanks for your help.
