Go to the Publish dialogue box, enter your settings to SWF and EXE, and any
other settings you want to make default.

Then at the top of the Publish dialogue box, you'll see a dropdown list which
says "Default". Just next to that is the Import/Export Profile button. Now all
you do is choose "Export", then name your "new" profile as "default", and
choose "yes" to overwrite the existing "default.xml"

Voila! Next time you open Flash, that will be your default setting.

Default publish settings an Flash-8 are SWF and HTML
I changed tham to SWF and EXE, but I have to do it for every FLA.
How do I set it so that they are SWF and EXE by default?
