flash (macromedia):
Hello everyone.

Is there anyway to:

1. control or modify the system screen resolution of a computer from flash
running either through a browser window (ala a plug in) or

2. through an .exe / proj file running locally?

I'm looking for the game to over ride the current setting if it is set too low
but is capable of a higher res.

thanks for reviewing

Flash has very few ways to control a user's machine ? thank goodness. For
security issues Flash can't do what you suggest.

You can check System.capabilities and then put up a screen suggesting that
they do what you would like.

With third party wrappers (Zinc, mProjector, Jugglor come to mind) it may be
possible to do such a thing in a projector.

Hi Squid,

Yes you can change the screen resolution by using Jugglor.

Download a FREE evaluation copy from

http://www.jugglor.com

then go to

Setup Settings -> Windows Settings -> Full Screen Resolution

no coding required, Jugglor does all the work.

Let us know if you have any questions.
