I'm using the TextAre in this project and I'd like to change its properties,
like removing the background, etc. Does any ones knows how?

In general any component can be customized by following the directions in the
help file. Don't try and search the help files, that will just confuse you.
Instead, look for the Component Dictionary and for the TextArea entry. There it
will show you all the things you can do and provide code samples.

Also, in my experience, the things described in the help files are about what
can be easily changed about the components. If it isn't in there it may still
be possible, but in general you would do better to make your own component.
