Newbie question about effects jagiz

flash (macromedia): I'm learning flash and there is one thing (so far) that I just don't
understand. Can anybody tell me how http://saguarostrutters.com/1928111/
created? I love how the picture breaks and comes together again. I would like
to do this with one of my own images.

Thanks in advance!

Yours,
nada-flash newbie.

Have a play with Satori Canton's tile transitions component.

It does that sort of effect quite well.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this effect is done 100% manually consisting of
19 separate images. So, it is not a flash effect. They probably did it in
photoshop or some other image editing software.

However, you could create a similar effect without the need to create
separate images :) It's pretty inefficient to do that sort of stuff in
Photoshop.

Well, a little from column A a little from column B.

It most likely isn't done by hand, but it also isn't just a little transition.

I don't have Flash 8 so I can't download the source and see exactly how it is
done.
