flash (macromedia) : Can I still install Flash Player 8

I upgraded to Flash Player 9 a few days ago but it doesn't work! Maybe because
my Windows XP is not updated. (I can't get updates for it.) Can I just go back
to what I had? I think it was Flash 8. Is it available for download? Or is
there something else that I should be doing to get Flash 9 to work?

It go installed and it plays in some sites but not all! I just know my old one played everything fine!
