flash (macromedia):
There is a tutorial on installing the tutorial that shows the tutorial.

I think you have to hit the tutorial button

In the help files (F1) there is a book called Flash Tutorials.

Don't underestimate yourself - you managed to figure it out just fine :)

In what area of flash? Actionscript? Design? Animation? Components? Video? All of the above?

I have installed studio 8 and I can get into

If you have Flash Basic, you won't have all the advanced components - you will need to upgrade to
Flash 8 Professional.

(which doesn't help much since I know nothing) but I can

Help docs (F1). Google is also your friend.

Surely this product has a tutorial.

May I ask how you will create a tutorial with a program you admittedly know nothing about? Are you
sure Flash was the right purchase for this usage? Take a look at Captivate.

How do I get into it.

Get "into" what exactly?

I am a total newby. I can't even figure out how to ask a question here. I
need to have a tutorial on flash. I have installed studio 8 and I can get into
all the components. (which doesn't help much since I know nothing) but I can
not find a tutorial anywhere. Surely this product has a tutorial. Since I
want to use it to create tutorials for my users I would think they would have a
tutorial to knock your socks off. How do I get into it. Have I not installed
right, is it somewhere on my disks (I will admit I haven't looked on the disks
yet) :sad;
