flash (macromedia) : Wacom Tablet & Flash 8

Just received my new Wacom Intuos 9x12 tablet. I'm loving it with all my
creative design programs. I've been experimenting with Flash and drawing.
However, it locks up and shuts down on me. I can restart it without a reboot
and continue. Of course if I were working a project I would lose my work. I
upgdated the drivers for the tablet already and still experiencing the problem.

Anyone else experiencing this too? Any ideas for resolving?

Thanks so much.

Sorry, no insights for you. Just to point out that I've used Wacom Intuos
tablets with Flash, Photoshop, Toon Boom Studio and others for over 7 years on
at least a dozen computers and never once experienced this problem. The only
difference with your situation is that I've always installed the hardware
before installing any applications. I suspect a driver incompatibility issue
between the tablet drivers and your graphics card drivers, nothing to do with
Flash itself.

Thank you Walter. I'll look into that. Maybe a Windows Registry clean up will
help too. I'm going to install Uniblue's dll registry fixer too. That's on my
2nd production computer, mostly used for music production, which I haven't
installed the tablet on yet.

Thanks for your quick response.
