flash (macromedia): Right now, I have a person alpha channeled out on screen. I placed him there
using the flvplayback component and when the flv finishes, he disappears. can
anyone tell me how to pause the video when it reaches the end?

I'm very new so I'm not sure if this solution is what you're looking for or not.

Select your flvplayback component on the stage

On your properties menu, click on the Parameters tab

Under the Parameters tab look for the entry titled 'autoRewind'

Double-click 'autoRewind' and select False from the drop-down menu

If I'm thinking of the right thing you're asking about then this should allow
the video to pause when it reaches the end rather than going black or to its
first frame.
