You can load the swf using the loadMovie or loadMovieNum functions (see

I created an interactive animation in an external program called Sothink SWF
Quicker and exported it to an SWF. The program is extremely similar to Flash in
all aspects.

I am trying to import this SWF into my flash web page (to stage), but when I
test it, it simply plays through the timeline of the SWF, allowing no
interaction.

Is there something special I need to be doing to make the SWF behave the way
it's supposed to? A special type of imbedding?
