I know this is supposed to be really easy... but for some reason my flash
movie isn't working (that I encoded from video).

This is the 2nd time that I've tried to do this and it keeps failing. I
follow the "publish" stuff in Flash and export it to dreameaver. Then I upload
the html file and the associated files with it, .fla, .swf. and the skin .swt.

And all I get when I upload everything is a blank screen:

Does something need to be installed on our server for it to work? Other flash
movies work like on our header, www.assumption.edu

It also doesn't work when I try to play it within dreamweaver. Just a blank
white area where the movie should be.

Thanks for any help. I hope it's just a stupid rookie mistake that I'm making.

In the meantime I'm using Quicktime to show the movie:

(which is crashing in some IE 7 browsers but works fine in IE 6 and gecko
browsers.. but that's another battle for a different forum)

The required flv file below is not available on your web server.

It may cause by any of the reason below:
- You didn't upload the flv file
- You have uploaded the flv file to the wrong directory
- Your flv file name is not "Dennis House_Med.flv"
- Your web server doesn't support FLV MIME type.

I suspect your web server doesn't support swf MIME type as well,
because when I access swf below, it shows unexpected text.

It was the MIME type issue. It will be installed after business hours today (since it requires a reboot).
