Flash Player 9 Problem Michael B1

flash (macromedia): I just visited CNET's review site and tried to watch a video. A message said
Macromedia Flash Player must be installed.
I already have FlashPlayer 9 installed on my computer. The site plays the
video fine if I switch to a different profile on my computer. Both profiles
have administrator rights.

HI! go to the adobe site and get the flash player uninstaller and uninstall
the plugin. reboot then install the player again under the profile that you
want and all should be fine.

I've already tried that but it didn't help. I've also checked the permissions
in the registry.
Each time I run the Adobe test it says I need Flash Player installed. I
install it, the Adobe site says Flash Player 9.0.45.0 was installed
successfully, but when I run the test again, it stilI says Flash Player not
installed.
Is it possible that they just aren't detecting Flash Player because of
something in my registry for my profile?:confused;

If your other profile works then its something within that profile. THere
are other file in your "Documents and Settings" folder and under your
profile name that stores info for the plugin. something there must creating
the problem. Do search on google or adobe site under "flash plugin errors"
and or "flash plugin not detected".

Good luck

Paul
