flash (macromedia):
I have designed a website in dreamweaver and have put a flv file a web page.
this works perfectly in all browsers wen i check it on my computer, but with
the webpage uploaded, the flv file doesn't appear. can someone explain why
this would happen?

The flv file and the playhead are in a different folder, but are linked
properly, but won't work online as they do on my PC?

Hi,

I had the same problem, I think that the flv needs to be in the same folder as the html file. even if they are linked properly it wont work due to the path..

The above is not 100% true, you just need to make sure the path is correct. I
have done plenty of files where the video is in a different folder - the path
is relative to the html file not the swf file.

Anyway, another possible problem is that the server isn't set up for the
correct Mime type:
