flash (macromedia):
I have made three scenes, in the third scene there are 3 layers. I have about
10 buttons that use to navigate to a different keyframe.
Using:
on(press) {
gotoAndStop(6);
}
It is all working well when i do a Control > Test movie howerever if i
do control >test scene everything jumps 3 keyframes ahead. eg

on(press){
gotoAndStop(6);
} it goes to keyframe 9 when i press the button to goto keyframe 1 it
goes to 3
this is only happening in test scene.

I am concerned because i have a lot more to do and do not want to get to the
end and find a major problem.
Any ideas and support is greatly appreciated. Cheers

Go here:
http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?q=group:*flash*&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

It is the google archive of this forum - search for "scenes" and "gotoAdPlay scenes" and similar
keywords relating to scenes and targeting frames. There have been exhustive discussions over many
years here about why targeting scene names and numbers can fail and most seasoned flashers never set
up their documents with scenes unless they are doing timeline animation with several different
"scenes" (environments).
