flash (macromedia):
Hello,
I'm using Flash Mx 2004 and have a slide show with animated text and audio.
I'd like to distribute on regular DVD so my family can can play them on home
theater system. I created the video in 800x600 at 15 fps. Is this an
acceptable frame rate for TV playback? When Exporting to Movie what compression
scheme will allow highest quality for both audio and video playback? I have
H263, H261, Mpeg-4 codec version 1 thru 3, and some Intel and Asus codecs just
to name a few. I also have some alpha channel blends in the video, if that
makes any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance,
john

For DVD you need -
Compressor - MPEG 2
Size - 720 x 476 NTSC or 620 x 576 PAL what ever applies to you
Frame rate - 30 for NTSC and 25 for PAL

Use DVD authoring tools like videostudio 10 from ulead. This can import swf
directly and export MPEG 2. I am not sure about Adobe Premiere Pro. Then use
Adode Encore DVD to make your DVD vob files.
