flash (macromedia): Lasso works with the raw art (vectors) so edit the symbol.

double click the symbol (Edit in Place).

Actually you might want to turn it off, since you need to "edit in place"
or ungroup to edit a drawing object. Try drawing a circle with object
drawing mode turned on and off (via the tools panel) to see the

If I have drawn, say, a circle and filled it in using gradient filling.
Now I wanted to brake it into several pieces using lasso, but lasso does not
work on that drawing. I converted it into a graphic symbol - no joy.
How shal I make lasso to work in this context?

As I said, I converted it into a graphic symbol and tried to use lasso on
that symbol.
It allows editing like free transform? but not lasso.
How else shall I edit it?
