Flash can help with video editing and preparation for Web deployment but you
may be better off with another program, like After Effects, depending on what
you are shooting and what you want to achieve.

You have a number of things to do to get the final result . Shoot the video,
edit and prepare for the Web and then add to your Web page. You can start your
research at the Flash developer center:

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/video.html

There are many other detailed tutorials out there and I recommend Lee
Brimelow's site gotoandlearn.com. The site is down at the moment but you can
still get to the dowloads page here:

http://www.gotoandlearn.com/download.php

Checkout the 8 part video basics tutorials for all the information that you
will need on Flash handling of Video.

These tips don't address the way to shoot video and if you are not sure how to
do that then check out sites like NAPP and there may be some Podcasts that
cover some basics, too.

NAPP is for digital photographers but the subject matter extends to the Adobe
family of products and there are usually some links to video related stuff if
you hunt around the site and links:

Get Podcasts from iTunes.
