flash (macromedia): This is an widespread and ongoing issue which has not to my knowledge been
satisfactorily resolved in this NG. Must be a bug. Hope it gets fixed!

I'm trying to export a project for a client as a Quicktime (using CS3), and was
able to do it earlier this evening, but now it's hanging up every time the
progress bar gets to the end of "Recording Flash Content." I tried resaving the
file under a new name and exporting, as well as changing my publish options to
Flash Player 9, all to no avail.

Any ideas on what's going wrong?

I'm having a related problem.
When exported a complicated animation I'm exporting the 'performance' of my
mac.
The exported movie at actual size adds almost 2 minutes to my 4 minute
animation. (slowing down at the more complex parts)
So it looks like "recording flash content" is a realtime operation. (?)
Is there a solution for this? Apart from buying a new mac.
