flash (macromedia): FYI: "Br" is the Bridge application - try launching that to see if it fully installed.

I downloaded a trial version, but when I install, it only install Active X and
Flash Player, it gave me a message that 3 other programs did not get installed.
When I try to open CS3 Flash software it's not there only Br is there and
Flash Player. Anyone encounters this problem?
thanks.

does your system meet the minimum requirements? have you tried right clicking
the setup file and selecting Run As Administrator? before you try that,
uninstall what you have installed previously. Sadly, the windows installer
isn't available in Safe Mode anymore.. Try running as administrator, if your
system meets the requirements. if that doesn't work, uninstall again, and
download a fresh copy of the trail file.

My computer is a brand new Vaio laptop loaded and 4 GB RAM. I don't think I
have a hardware problem. I tried to reinstall, redownload and it still will
not install the flash software. After I download I clicked on the file and it
install a folder in my drive, then I clicked on set up, it went through a
normal set up but for some reason it doesn't load Flash CS3, it only load 2
components from that I think it Br and something else.

There is a solution,
Check your event viewer and see if adobe has generated a message. you may find
there is an error code, 2739.
If this is the case, follow the instructions at
http://www.mysecretroom.com/wiki
it will tell you to run regsvr32 jscript.dll
it worked for me!

Ok, I tried everything (uninstall, reinstall, install as an admin. redownload
the software and start all over again). It still will not install Flash CS3.
Anyone install this with Vista? I wonder if it's something to do with Vista.

you are probably still not giving the proper permissions to execute files

disable User Accounts completely ! ...then install & after install enable User
Accounts again

then when you have nothing else better to do ...go in & fix your permissions

but i have User Accounts disabled completely ...because giving the OK to every
single thing i want to do ...really get's on my nerves ! ;o))) ...& i can live
just with a security warning on start up :o)))

& i work on my Mac more than i do my PC ;o)))

peace John

Ok, I tried everything that you guys suggested, and it still does not install
Flash CS3. I tried to only install Flash CS3 instead of its components, and it
still did not work. I look up the event log and this is the only error (one of
the event even said that the Flash CS3 is install succesfully)

"Product: Adobe Asset Service CS3 -- Error 1935. An error occurred during the
installation of assembly... "
